Laurence Myers


Laurence Myers had a twenty-year career as a Financial Advisor, Artists Manger and Recording Executive in the music business, advising, amongst many others: The Rolling Stones, David Bowie, The New Seekers, and The Sweet.

The end of the eighties saw Myers move to West End stage production, since then he has produced or co-produced Budgie The Musical, starring Adam Faith and Anita Dobson at The Cambridge Theatre. Matador, starring Stephanie Powers and John Barrowman at The Queen’s Theatre. Neil Simon’s Laughter On The 23rd. Floor starring Gene Wilder at The Queen’s Theatre, Jesus, My Boy starring Tom Conti at The Apollo Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue, Jeffrey Bernard is Unwell starring Peter O’Toole at The Old Vic, The Seven Year Itch starring Daryl Hannah at The Queens Theatre, The Beautiful and Damned directed by Craig Revel Horwood at The Lyric Theatre Shaftsbury Avenue, Mac and Mabel at The Criterion Theatre Piccadilly, starring David Soul and Janie Dee. Edward Albee’s Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf at The Apollo Theatre Shaftesbury Avenue starring Kathleen Turner, Duet For One starring Juliet Stephenson and Henry Goodman at The Vaudeville, End of The Rainbow starring Tracie Bennett at The Trafalgar Studios and at The Belasco Theatre on Broadway, and Taken At Midnight, starring Penelope Wilton at The Theatre Royal Haymarket. His most recent co-productions include White Christmas at the Dominion Theatre, and UK Tours of Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Hairspray. He is Executive Producer of Judy Biopic of Judy Garland starring Oscar winner, Renee Zellweger.
