Martin Kaye

Jerry Lee Lewis

Martin Kaye

Martin Kaye, a Manchester-born, award-winning pianist, singer, songwriter and all-round show-man, rejoins us from a short break, having played Jerry Lee Lewis on the first leg of the UK tour.

Martin originally came to us from the Las Vegas production of “MDQ”, where he played Jerry Lee Lewis since its opening in February 2013, although he was first cast in the role six years ago, when the show, fresh from its Tony-award-winning Broadway run, embarked on its first American national tour. To date, Martin has done almost two thousand performances as “The Killer”, and was awarded Best Actor by Vegas Seven Magazine in its first of four years in Las Vegas.

Three albums to his name, Martin is always collaborating and working on side projects, having co-written a musical, Bright Side, and his own one-man show, Odd Socks. He would like to sincerely thank his parents, family and friends for their unwavering support and encouragement of his need and desire to follow his dream.
